The event was opened by Agit Yogi Subandi, S.H., M.H., international law lecturer and chief organizer, by quoting Pramoedya Ananta Toer: “A man may be clever as the sky, but as long as he does not write, he will disappear from society and from history. Writing is working for eternity.” Agit underlined the importance of writing as a means of spreading knowledge. “Writing penetrates time and space. In the campus context, research results must be published so that the public can enjoy student work,” he said.

In his presentation, Ridwan Arifin urged students to take their assignments seriously and publish them professionally. “Students should be serious in doing their assignments, so that the results can be published and read by the public,” he said. Ridwan even gave a special opportunity to ten students to get direct guidance in writing articles for journal publication.

In the question and answer session, Dr. Rudi Natamiharja, S.H., D.E.A., appreciated the enthusiasm of the participants and encouraged students to continue honing their writing skills. “After graduation, we hope students can convey their brilliant ideas through solid and well-published writing, especially in order to encourage graduation rates, especially through the path of writing scientific articles that can be used as final assignments,” he said.

This public lecture received high enthusiasm from the students, especially in the question and answer session. Ridwan Arifin's presence as a resource person also enriched students' understanding of journal publications, providing in-depth insights that are expected to inspire them in the scientific writing process in the future.
